This metal building is constructed on the very spot where stood the traditional market town, very long attractive center of the town and its environs. Around 1913, paving the space allotted in the contract is decided to clean up. Coverage ends in 1930. Until the eve of WW2, the market, lively, offers besides traditional agricultural products, objects made by artisans in the metalworking industry. Smallholders food crops also gathered there Sunday with chair makers, Cordier, of weavers. From 1995 to 2008, the market has been transformed into a church. Inside, the steel structure is apparent. The cast iron fountain was cast in the Sarthe. It is signed Chappé and son. The market was inaugurated September 12, 2010.
