The sea, the forest, the landscapes. On this patch of forest that comes from sharing Fonds Saint Jacques in 1933, 200 mahogany (Honduras mahogany) are planted in 1944 and in 1959, 360 Caribbean pine on former savannas. Tourism development was inaugurated in 1974 by Camille M. PETIT, Deputy Mayor of Sainte Marie. Mr. Salinas is the District Manager. This is one of the first tourist facilities forest of Martinique. The development includes 10 tables and benches, two ajoupas, benches, a two sanitary toilets, a fountain and barbecue grills. Many trails off to discover some nice views of the sea and for good walkers take you to the Anse Charpentier. It is also a nature trail, species are labeled, an arboretum of species endangered complete it.
